European Summerschool part II

Some more pictures here to see about the Summerschool, held in Leiden. Now with me in them as well. And even one where Gunnar Linder 'persuaded' me to join the ESS (European Shakuhachi Society) which is good!

I like your photos of the skak summer school Bas. It must be wonderful to play the flute with other shakuhachi players. I have only had an opportunity to play with others once and then it was just of an hour or so of Ro-buki. I can imagine how inspiring it would be to spend days playing with experienced and enthusiastic shakuhachi players all around you!

It is very inspiring to have such an event. Sometimes it can be a bit lonely the path of study...
Can't you repeat that session with others more often? I remember you wrote about that session (about kan I think).
